Centipeetle

'Nother oldie. I'mma just copypasta the original description from my art blog because haa, I'm so lazy and yet I prefer people know the full story of the stuff I draw:

I’ve been wanting to post my own concept for what Centipeetle from Steven Universe might look like after she’s healed and has assumed her true form. You know, before they show the real canon version on the show. <3

I drew this a long time ago and it took me an embarrassingly long time just to put flat colors on this. Very rusty and timid rn. 

I don’t have any theories on what gem she is because I don’t know anything about gemology, but I kind of like the idea of her being green apatite.

I didn’t want to make her one of Yellow Diamond’s because we’ve already got Peridot (who is also green) and Jasper (who also has a mane of white hair), but yellow just looked so nice compared to the other colors. I actually didn’t draw a diamond on her outfit on purpose, it just sort of happened (again, drew it a long time ago). If I ever draw Green Apatite again, I’ll give her a star instead.
